IAB Bar/Bat Mitzva Club

The IAB Bar/Bat Mitzva Club is composed of Bnei Mitzva who for their Bar or Bat Mitzva project collected and delivered baseball equipment to the IAB. The Bats, gloves, balls, helmets, tees, catching gear etc collected by the club members is used to help promote baseball in the community. More teams can be equipped, more clinics can be run, and more children who cannot afford gloves have the opportunity to play baseball. We salute the members of this club and call upon all the Bnei Mitzva who love baseball and Israel to join.

Scoop Ruxin is the star pitcher of New England champ Scorpions. He also plays on several other teams in the Lexington Mass area.

Scoop brought the equipment himself on a family Bar Mitzva trip in December 2005. He together with his father Bob ran several clincs for local players in Jerusalem and Bet Shemsh.

Brian Chamberlain is star player in the Philadelphia area. He gathered up eight boxes of equipment and used his own gift money to ship most of it. He hopes to bring the rest himself when he vists Israel with the family.
Ryan Susman pitches for the Hawks in Western Florida. Ryan 'shlepped' 5 bags of equipment himself to Israel on a recent trip this summer. He also got to meet IAB players first hand as he participated in the Camp of Giants.
